How we got engaged

On the morning of December 20, 2008 Zach woke Carey up to tell her to pack her bags, he was taking her someplace special. He then whisked her away to the Inns and Spa at Mill Falls on Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, NH.

Following a spa treatment Carey and Zach enjoyed a romantic dinner overlooking the lake.

Upon returning to their room, Carey retired to the ladies room to do a happy dance in anticipation of what she could only imagine was the moment that was seven years in the making. Zach took this time pour some wine and sweat it out in front of the fireplace.

Not two minutes into sipping their wine, Zach took a gulp, looked at Carey and said, "you can read me like a book," got down on one knee, and promised to love her for the rest of their lives.
